In our most emotional campaign so far, our hearts were touched by the biggest humanitarian catastrophe in the history of mankind.
Millions of defenseless Syrian refugee children who had been forgotten by the world depended on us to keep their shattered dreams alive.
Game Plan :
Led by the biggest heart of all — Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, UNHCR Eminent Advocate — our PR efforts led to highly innovative fundraisers.
We changed the perceptions of fundraisers as formal, unexciting events through highly entertaining comedic, art and musical shows with celebrities.
We also oversaw events like the ‘Investing in the Future’ (IIF MENA), which was supported by global humanitarians like Angelina Jolie.
Mission Accomplished :
We helped to bring urgent life-saving treatment to 265,000 refugees, feed 400,000 refugees and put a roof over the heads of thousands more to save them from blistering sub-zero temperatures.
The campaign went on to evolve into the Big Heart Foundation, touching countless more lives in more countries.
